The owners of this property commissioned a piece of art to be displayed in their backyard.  They were interested in a place where it could be enjoyed outside as well as seen from inside their home.

Paradise City Landscape Design proposed a sculpture garden, featuring a swirling Goshen stone walkway that wound about the sculpture.

Named ‘Arachne,’ the sculpture was sited on its own dark pad in such a way that the owners could walk up and feel the surface of the sculpture.

The walkway extends around the back yard, passing a sitting rock under the weeping cherry and inviting the owners to pause.

As the tree plantings mature, the area will become a shade garden, creating a cool respite in the back yard.
