The owner of this 6-acre property in Florence was interested in creating fun outdoor play spaces for her children. The property is a double lot, with a spring-fed pond and wetland on the northern parcel, with the residence located on the southern parcel.

Paradise City Landscape developed a master plan, which included:

• The Discovery Garden, a series of garden spaces formed by planted berms, for children playing and the owner growing vegetables
• Stepping stone boulders, for leap-frogging to the pond above
• A woodland garden patio, for a shady respite

Construction began after approval from the Conservation Commission, and today, the owner’s children enjoy a fun, imaginative outdoor play area.
