The mixed shrubs at the front of this business were fully matured and required a high degree of annual maintenance. The owner was interested in a fresh, new look, and decided to replace the plantings in their entirety.
Paradise City Landscape Design proposed to add trees to the front plantings to add stature to offset the imposing facade of the building. The elevation design drawings showed the location, number and types of trees to be planted, as well as the nature of the shrubs and perennials.
The shrub plantings included a mix of evergreen and deciduous plants, with many flowering throughout the growing season.
The commonly used juniper of the parking islands was replaced with a mix of grasses, less-common needled evergreens, and low flowering shrubs.
The installation was completed in late Fall, 2014.
